Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or 4 chicken tenders
1/2 cup flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
Salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to taste
4 large flour tortillas
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Dredge in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Cook the Chicken: Fry in oil until golden and fully cooked. Alternatively, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes or air-fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes.
- Warm Tortillas: Heat each tortilla in a skillet or microwave for a few seconds until soft.
- Assemble Wraps: Spread ranch dressing down the center of each tortilla. Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, and sliced chicken. Add cheese if using.
- Wrap and Roll: Fold in the sides and roll tightly from the bottom up. Slice in half if desired.
- Serve or Store: Serve immediately or wrap in foil/paper and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
