Description
Creamy Parmesan Beef Linguine with Garlic Butter Sauce is a comforting pasta dish that pairs rich, garlicky cream sauce with savory ground beef and tender linguine. This cozy dinner brings restaurant-style flavor to your table in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
12 oz linguine
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
1 sprig thyme (optional garnish)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat and set beef aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in crushed red pepper.
4. Pour in heavy cream and stir continuously. Add grated Parmesan and whisk until smooth. Let simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Return beef to the pan. Add cooked linguine and toss gently. Use pasta water as needed to loosen sauce.
6. Plate and garnish with more Parmesan, parsley, and thyme if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Don’t skip the reserved pasta water — it’s the secret to a silky, clinging sauce.
Use freshly grated Parmesan (not pre-shredded) for the best melt and flavor.
Taste and adjust seasoning after combining everything to balance richness.
