Creamy Lemonade

Description

A smooth, citrusy twist on classic lemonade that blends the brightness of lemons with the silky sweetness of condensed milk. Ideal for brunch, warm-weather gatherings, or a refreshing treat any time of day.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh lemon juice

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

3 cups cold water

2 cups ice cubes

4 slices lemon (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Juice fresh lemons until you have 1 cup of lemon juice. Use a citrus juicer for ease and seed-free results.

2. In a blender, combine the lemon juice, sweetened condensed milk, and cold water. Blend on high for 30 seconds until smooth and slightly frothy.

3. Taste the mixture. If too tart, add more condensed milk. If too thick, add more water. Blend again briefly.

4. (Optional) Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp for a smoother consistency.

5. Pour into a serving pitcher filled with ice or serve over individual glasses of ice. Garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

Use only fresh lemon juice for the best taste. Bottled lemon juice will dull the flavor.

Condensed milk blends best when all ingredients are cold to start.

For a tropical twist, try substituting sweetened condensed coconut milk.
