Description

This one-pot creamy Italian spaghetti blends seasoned ground beef, pasta, and melty cheese in a rich, velvety sauce. A quick comfort meal with minimal cleanup and maximum flavor.


Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

8 ounces spaghetti (broken in half)

1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

4 ounces cream cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. In a large deep skillet or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

2. Stir in diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.

3. Add beef broth and heavy cream. Stir until well combined and bring to a low simmer.

4. Add broken spaghetti into the pot, ensuring it’s mostly submerged. Cover and simmer for about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. When the pasta is tender and the liquid mostly absorbed, add cream cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.

6. Stir in shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese until fully incorporated.

7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving if desired.

Notes

Stir pasta occasionally while cooking to prevent it from sticking together or to the pan bottom.

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream and reduce the cheese by 25%.

This dish thickens as it cools. Add a splash of broth or cream to loosen when reheating.
