Description

This Creamy Ground Beef Bowtie Pasta with Mozzarella and Parmesan is a weeknight dinner dream—quick, satisfying, and absolutely indulgent. Bowtie pasta is coated in a silky cream sauce made with mozzarella and parmesan, then tossed with juicy ground beef and bright tomatoes for a one-pan comfort dish the whole family will love.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

12 ounces bowtie pasta

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes

1 small onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook bowtie pasta until al dente, according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess grease.

3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with beef. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion softens and the garlic is fragrant.

4. Stir in the diced tomatoes (with their juices), heavy cream, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.

5. Lower the heat and stir in mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Mix until the sauce is creamy and fully melted.

6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Cook for another minute.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly grated mozzarella and parmesan for the creamiest melt and best flavor.

You can substitute ground turkey or Italian sausage for a twist on the beef.

Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating to revive the sauce’s silky texture.
