Ingredients
2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 ounces cream cheese
1 ounce dry ranch seasoning mix
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and chicken broth until smooth.
2. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken, covering it evenly.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
5. Once done, shred the chicken using two forks.
6. Stir the shredded chicken into the sauce.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Let the cream cheese come to room temperature before mixing for easier blending.
Avoid lifting the lid during cooking to retain heat and moisture.
For a thinner sauce, stir in a splash of milk or broth before serving.
