Description

Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta is a flavorful and satisfying dish featuring tender, seared chicken tossed in a rich Cajun-spiced cream sauce with pasta. This comforting meal is perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-sized cubes

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste

8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and cream, stir to combine, and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Add pasta water if needed to loosen sauce.
  7. Return chicken to skillet, add pasta, and toss to coat. Simmer for 2 more minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
