Description
Creamy Cajun Chicken Linguine with Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a flavor-loaded pasta dish combining golden-seared Cajun chicken, al dente linguine, and a rich garlic cheese sauce. Perfect for cozy nights or wow-factor dinners, this recipe delivers bold Southern flair with creamy comfort in every bite.
Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts
8 oz linguine pasta
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup heavy cream
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season generously with Cajun seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
3. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
5. Stir in heavy cream and whisk until smooth. Add mozzarella and Parmesan gradually, whisking constantly.
6. Slice rested chicken into strips.
7. Toss cooked pasta in the cheese sauce until fully coated.
8. Add chicken on top and drizzle extra sauce.
9. Garnish with parsley and cracked black pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
Always use freshly grated cheese for the creamiest texture.
Let the chicken rest before slicing—it keeps the juices locked in.
Add a splash of milk when reheating to restore the sauce’s silky consistency.
