Description

Ingredients

White sandwich bread

Cream cheese or butter (softened)

Granulated sugar

Ground cinnamon

Eggs

Milk

Butter (for cooking)

Powdered sugar (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cut the crusts off each bread slice and flatten with a rolling pin.
  2. Spread each slice with cream cheese or butter.
  3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle over the spread.
  4. Roll up each slice tightly into a log.
  5. Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
  6. Dip each roll into the egg mixture to coat all sides.
  7. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Cook roll-ups, turning until all sides are golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
