Description

The Chopped Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub is a mouthwatering sandwich loaded with juicy chopped chicken, crispy bacon, crunchy lettuce, and creamy ranch dressing, all wrapped in a soft sub roll. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or game-day gatherings, this sub is a hearty, flavor-packed option that’s both quick and satisfying.



Ingredients

2 cooked chicken breasts, chopped

6 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy

1/2 cup ranch dressing (plus more if desired)

1 cup shredded romaine lettuce

1 large sub roll or hoagie bun

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: sliced tomatoes, shredded cheese, or pickles


Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken breasts (grilled, baked, or pan-seared), season with salt and pepper, and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook bacon strips in a skillet until crispy, drain on paper towels, and chop.
  3. Wash and shred romaine lettuce. Prepare any optional toppings.
  4. Slice the sub roll in half lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  5. Layer lettuce on the bottom, followed by chopped chicken and bacon.
  6. Drizzle ranch dressing generously over the top.
  7. (Optional) Toast the assembled sub in a preheated oven at 375°F for 5–7 minutes.
  8. Slice and serve immediately.
