Description
Creamy, cheesy, and full of savory flavor, this Cheesy Rotini Pasta with Garlic Butter Sauce and Ground Beef is your go-to comfort food. It’s perfect for a weeknight dinner and easy enough for beginner cooks. With rich butter, garlic, seasoned ground beef, and melty cheese all wrapped around tender rotini — it’s satisfaction in a bowl.
Ingredients
2 cups rotini pasta
1 pound ground beef
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a deep skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Break it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
3. Push beef to one side of the skillet. Add butter and minced garlic. Let it cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Stir beef and garlic butter together. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Gradually add mozzarella and cheddar, stirring until melted into a smooth sauce.
6. Add cooked pasta and stir until fully coated.
7. Season with salt and black pepper. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Freshly grated cheese melts more smoothly than pre-shredded.
Add red pepper flakes if you prefer a spicy kick.
For a lighter version, swap cream for half-and-half and use ground turkey.
