Description
Creamy, spicy, and irresistibly cheesy, this Cheesy Garlic Twisted Pasta with Cajun Ground Beef and Alfredo Velveeta is the perfect weeknight comfort meal. Made in one skillet with minimal cleanup, this bold-flavored pasta dish delivers a punch of Cajun spice, smooth Alfredo richness, and satisfying bites of twisted rotini pasta.
Ingredients
1 lb rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup cubed Velveeta cheese
1 jar Alfredo sauce (15 oz)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook rotini pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
2. In a deep skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning and continue cooking until fully browned.
4. Lower the heat. Stir in Alfredo sauce and Velveeta cubes. Mix until Velveeta is melted and sauce is smooth.
5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Gently toss to coat in the sauce. If needed, stir in a splash of reserved pasta water.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with shredded Parmesan and chopped parsley if desired.
7. Serve hot and enjoy the creamy Cajun goodness!
Notes
For a smoother sauce, stir in Velveeta slowly and avoid boiling after adding cheese.
Adjust Cajun spice level to taste—start small and build heat gradually.
Reheat leftovers with a splash of milk to revive the creamy texture without overcooking the pasta.
