Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
1.5 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
1. Season chicken with garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon melted butter. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
3. Boil bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente (about 10–12 minutes). Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
5. Add heavy cream and whisk gently until slightly thickened.
6. Reduce heat to low, then stir in parmesan and mozzarella until melted into a creamy sauce.
7. Toss pasta in the cheese sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen.
8. Slice chicken and serve over pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan if desired.
