Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas
1 packet taco seasoning
1 small onion, diced (optional)
1 tbsp butter or oil
Instructions
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter or oil.
2. Add ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it into crumbles.
3. Stir in taco seasoning and diced onion (if using); simmer for 2–3 minutes.
4. Lay out tortillas and spoon beef mixture down the center of each.
5. Top beef with shredded cheddar cheese.
6. Fold the sides and roll each tortilla into a burrito shape.
7. Place wraps seam-side down into the skillet and press gently with a spatula.
8. Toast 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
9. Slice in half and serve hot.
Notes
For extra crisp, lightly butter the skillet before searing each side.
Use freshly shredded cheese to ensure smooth melting and stronger flavor.
Warm tortillas before filling to prevent tearing during the roll-up.
