Ingredients
1 lb linguine
2 large chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 ½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. While pasta cooks, season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream. Simmer gently for 3-4 minutes while whisking.
6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and continue whisking until sauce is smooth and thickened.
7. Add cooked linguine to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
8. Top with sliced golden chicken, sprinkle parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
Freshly grated Parmesan melts better and avoids grainy sauce.
Let chicken rest before slicing to retain juices.
Use low heat when adding cheese to prevent curdling.
