Description

A vibrant Italian-inspired appetizer featuring ripe cherry tomatoes, creamy fresh mozzarella, fragrant basil leaves, and a drizzle of tangy balsamic glaze. This Caprese Salad comes together in minutes and offers a refreshing and elegant bite.


Ingredients

2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes, halved

1 1/2 cups fresh mozzarella balls (ciliegine or bocconcini), drained

1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Salt and black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the cherry or grape tomatoes in half.
  2. Drain the mozzarella balls and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a large bowl, combine tomatoes and mozzarella.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and toss gently.
  5. Tear the basil leaves and mix them into the salad.
  6. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze over the top.
  7. Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving.
