  • Author: Julia Koch
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

A fresh and hearty twist on the classic Big Mac, this salad bowl brings together seasoned ground beef, crisp veggies, cheddar cheese, and a creamy, tangy sauce for a satisfying meal without the bun.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (85% lean)

1 head romaine lettuce, chopped

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cucumber, sliced

1/4 cup red onion, diced

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup diced pickles

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1/3 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard

2 tbsp diced pickles (for sauce)

Salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
  2. Prepare the salad vegetables: chop lettuce, halve tomatoes, slice cucumber, and dice red onion.
  3. Make the sauce: mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles in a small bowl.
  4. Assemble the salad: layer lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion in a bowl. Top with beef, cheddar, pickles, and sesame seeds.
  5. Drizzle with Big Mac sauce or serve it on the side. Enjoy!
