Ingredients
24 ladyfinger biscuits
2 cups heavy whipping cream
8 oz mascarpone or cream cheese
0.5 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, red currants)
1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
Instructions
1. Beat heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
2. In another bowl, beat mascarpone or cream cheese until smooth, then fold into the whipped cream.
3. Arrange ladyfinger biscuits in an 8×8 or 9×9-inch dish.
4. Spread cream mixture over biscuits, top with mixed berries.
5. Repeat layers, ending with a cream layer.
6. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
7. Top with extra berries and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
