Beef and Rotini in Garlic Parmesan Sauce is a comforting, creamy pasta dish that combines juicy ground beef with tender rotini noodles, all tossed in a rich garlic Parmesan cream sauce. It’s a satisfying, one-pan meal that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or cozy weekends at home.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (85/15 recommended)
8 oz rotini pasta (uncooked)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup beef broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
Fresh chopped parsley or chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini until just shy of al dente (7–8 minutes). Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (30–60 seconds).
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese gradually until the sauce is smooth. Add Italian seasoning if desired. Adjust seasoning.
- Return beef and cooked pasta to the pan. Toss to coat and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan, cracked pepper, and chopped herbs.
