Ingredients
225g elbow macaroni
2 cups cottage cheese
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder (optional)
Instructions
1. Boil macaroni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs. Add cottage cheese, milk, cheddar, mozzarella, and optional seasonings. Mix well.
3. Fold in the cooked macaroni until fully coated.
4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13″ baking dish. Top with extra shredded cheese.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 35–40 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
6. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
