Description
These Air Fryer Garlic Roasted Green Beans are a quick and flavorful side dish that pairs the crisp texture of roasted beans with the bold flavor of garlic. Ready in under 15 minutes, this recipe is perfect for weeknight dinners, holiday tables, or healthy snacking.
Ingredients
1 pound fresh green beans
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Wash and trim the ends of the green beans. Pat them completely dry with a clean towel to ensure maximum crispiness.
2. In a mixing bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Ensure all beans are evenly coated.
3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
4. Place the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
5. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to cook evenly.
6. Remove once blistered and slightly crisp. Serve hot with a sprinkle of additional salt or parmesan, if desired.
Notes
Dry thoroughly – Moisture is the enemy of crispiness. Be sure the beans are completely dry before seasoning.
Don’t overcrowd – Cook in batches if needed to allow the air to circulate freely.
Customize – Add lemon zest, parmesan, or chopped herbs to switch up the flavor profile.
