Air Fryer French Fries are the golden, crispy snack you can feel good about. With just a touch of oil and the magic of hot air, these fries deliver that classic crunch without the deep-fried guilt. Perfect as a side, a snack, or a base for loaded fries.
Ingredients
3 large Russet potatoes
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt (plus more to finish)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Peel or scrub the potatoes and slice into 1/4-inch thick matchsticks.
- Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes.
- Drain and pat dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
- Toss the fries in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove when golden and crispy. Sprinkle with more salt and parsley if desired.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
