Description

Air Fryer French Fries are the golden, crispy snack you can feel good about. With just a touch of oil and the magic of hot air, these fries deliver that classic crunch without the deep-fried guilt. Perfect as a side, a snack, or a base for loaded fries.


Ingredients

3 large Russet potatoes

1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt (plus more to finish)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Peel or scrub the potatoes and slice into 1/4-inch thick matchsticks.
  2. Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat dry thoroughly with a clean towel.
  4. Toss the fries in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Remove when golden and crispy. Sprinkle with more salt and parsley if desired.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
